Hydromar designs and manufactures parts for luxury yachts in Leeuwarden. Afterward, the products are shipped around the world, primarily to Europe, but also frequently to America and Australia.
Specialized transport
The size of some products makes transport a challenge at times. Wichard Weitenberg explains: “Last year, we had a special assignment. A huge box (door) for a large yacht needed to be delivered to Italy. Our customer had been here on Monday for the final test, and by Friday morning, it had to be at its destination in Italy. TFF handled this perfectly and quickly arranged a trailer and carrier. The box was so large that it had to be placed diagonally on the trailer, but it just fit. On Thursday evening, the box was delivered to the correct address, and we received a photo of a satisfied customer.”
